Shabbat Services

Rejoice in the Torah as it is the Tree of Life!

Come join us for a joyful Simchat Torah Celebration at JCO on Friday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. with Rabbi Lisa and Cantor Mitzi.  We will be singing, dancing, praying, eating, and experiencing the unrolling of one of our Torah Scrolls around the Sanctuary. It is also customary for our children to march around the sanctuary seven times to honor the Torah, a true blessing.

We need at least 30 people to attend to help us do the mitzvah of unrolling the Torah scroll!

Please plan to participate in the meat and vegetarian potluck.

Main dishes are welcome. Drinks will be provided.

And you still have time to shake the lulav as it is also the last night of Sukkot!

Although we are a small community  (we like to think of ourselves as small, but mighty) we strive to make our services warm and welcoming.

Our regular services take place on Fridays at 6 pm, followed by an oneg. You are welcome to join us anytime!

We are grateful for the many talented members that assist in making our services special. Meet one of them here:
