Speaker's series: ESTATE PLANNING

Where there's a will there's a way! 

But without a will or an estate plan, the way will be harder -- your wishes will not be fulfilled and your heirs will be confused.  Whether you pass away or become incapacitated, it's important to let others know how you want your assets distributed, how you want to be cared for, and who should care for your survivors.  And that means, among other things, identifying and listing your assets, and describing the kind of medical care and burial you desire.

Ojai attorney and bioethicist Jeffrey Loebl will help us begin (or improve upon) our estate planning as part of JCO's Speaker Series. He will discuss the hard questions we must face to help ourselves. Loebl uses his legal skills and his bioethics training to assist clients with estate and end-of-life planning. Loebl volunteers on local hospital-related boards, including an Institutional Review Board, a Quality Assurance Committee, and a Board of Trustees.
