Speaker Series: Principles of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Medical emergencies can happen anywhere. Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) has saved the lives of many. While waiting for a response from 9-1-1 call, those who know how to administer CPR can increase the chance of survival for a victim experiencing breathing and cardiac emergencies.

Congregant and preeminent doctor Shlomo Raz will teach us lifesaving skills that can help us respond to these emergencies. The course will include a PowerPoint presentation, instructional videos and practice of CPR on a mannequin.

Shlomo Raz, MD, a native of Uruguay, received his medical degree there and then completed residencies in internal medicine both at the University of Montevideo and at Rambam University Hospital in Israel. After doing a fellowship in surgery/urology at UCLA, he returned to Israel and served on the urology staff at Hadassah University.
