K'hilat Ha'Aloneem is now a proud member of Meiners Oaks Business and Artist Association (MOBAA). Founded in May, 2009 by Meiners Oaks business owners and community members, this non profit organization was created with the goal of bringing together residents, business owners, artists, musicians and community members to foster a sense of connection, support and safety for those who are a part of the Meiners Oaks Community.
The group monitors issues concerning the community and is presently working with the County in creating new sidewalks along the El Roblar corridor and creating a new "Welcome to Meiners Oaks" sign. Two community events are held each year: The Summer Solstice Festival which will be June 26 and will feature art, live music, food, entertainment, sales and specials from local businesses and The Meiners Oaks Holiday Stroll in December.
