Often we arrive at High Holy Days with little preparation and without a text. Imagine coming to a class like that!
In order to get as much as possible out of the services, and in order to feel as comfortable as possible, it’s helpful to buy a machzor beforehand and to look it over.
K’hilat HaAloneem provides some High Holy Days prayer books for synagogue use, but often congregants end up sharing.
